| Objective |

The aim of this yoga immersion is to allow seasoned yoga practitioners to deepen their knowledge of yoga from a scientific and medical perspective. Many practitioners are complementing their lifestyles (stress management, health management, physical fitness) with the ancient science of yoga and meditation. This is done through attending classes at yoga studios, and attending yoga workshops.
This programme offers practitioners to understand the systematic approach and ‘eight’ limbed approach to yoga. |

| Curriculum |

The curriculum will include the following:
- Yoga and Anatomy
- Asana class practice (basic, intermediate)
- Pranayama and breathwork
- Meditation, Mantras, and Mudras
- Yoga and Modern Medicine Research
- Yoga philosophy (Gerhand Samhita, Patanjali Yoga Sutras)
Duration:
This is a 100-hour, 12 working days full time programme allowing teaching to be structured in a centre of excellence.

| Assessment and Certification |
|
|
Students will have to submit 1 report and 1 assignment during the 12 day programme.
This together with practical examination will count for the final assessment and grading for the certification. Assignments will be given in the context of applying ancient yogic wisdom with modern life management and medicinal and therapy aspects. Students will be required to professionally present the assignment outputs in a mode that works best for them.
This progamme is an immersion for many professionals in related areas (for example Human Resource and Management personnel in the corporate sector, professionals from the medical and lifestyle counseling faculties, representatives from the fitness industry, any practitioner wanting to deepen their knowledge in a structured and academic environment).
